The South Dakota REALTORS® (SDR) is a vibrant, not-for-profit trade organization representing over 2000 dedicated real estate professionals who help shape communities across South Dakota. With a foundation built on integrity, ethics, and service, SDR provides its members with a wealth of benefits, including powerful political advocacy, high-quality educational programs, and the latest industry insights shared through its REALTOR® Highlights publication and monthly REALTOR® e-News. At its core, SDR is committed to helping REALTORS® succeed by upholding a strict code of ethics as members of the National Association of REALTORS® and providing Professional Standards administration that reinforces trust within the industry and the communities served.

Chartered in 1944 by the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, SDR has established itself as a guiding force for real estate in South Dakota. Known as “The Voice for Real Estate in South Dakota,” SDR has remained steadfast in its mission to support members in conducting their business successfully, ethically, and with a commitment to the communities they serve. With a firm belief in property ownership rights, SDR advocates for policies that protect the ability to own, transfer, and use real property.
